Rainout Schedule
In all three divisions, games that have been cancelled due to inclimate weather will be rescheduled to the first available open date. At the time of cancellation an e-mail will be sent letting everyone know when the games have been rescheduled.
Diamond Example: A Wednesday night game is the first rainout of the week. Friday night is the first available open night on the Diamond Field. Monday's game gets rescheduled to Friday.
Vosburgh Example: Monday and Tuesday night's games have been rained out. Monday's game has been rescheduled to the first available open date which is Friday. Tuesday night's game gets rescheduled to the next available open date, which is Sunday at 2 p.m.
Liitle League Example: A Monday game in Liitle League was cancelled. Thursday looks to be the next available open date, but there is a diamond game scheduled on Falter Field. So Monday's game will be rescheduled to the next available open date which is Friday.
Please note that there are instances under which games may not be rescheduled to the next available open date. Such as:
1. If rescheduling a game will make a team play three games in four days.
2. If the next available open date was purposely left open on the original schedule because of a school event.
Game postponed on Saturday May 17:
Vosburgh: Phillies vs. Mets - postponed in the top of the fourth inning with the Phillies leading 2-1. Will resume play on Saturday, June 14 at 11 a.m.
Games postponed on Thursday May 22:
Little League: Red Sox vs. Yankees - game postponed in the third inning. Will resume play on Saturday June 7 at noon.
Games Cancelled or postponed on Saturday May 31:
Vosburgh: Tigers vs. Yankees - postponed in the bottom of the third inning. Will resume play on Friday June 13 at 6 p.m.
Diamond: Cubs vs. Giants - rescheduled to Friday June 13 at 6 p.m.
