| COACHES NEEDED! The HLL Challenger Division is looking for coaches to help children with special needs develop confidence and self esteem while teaching the basics of baseball. Coaches will work with volunteers and "buddy" Little League players to teach participants basic skills and game play. Enthusiasm, patience, a BIG heart and desire to work with children with special needs are a must to work in this very special one of a kind program. Prior experience in working with special needs children along with knowledge of baseball fundamentals are helpful. If you are interested, please contact Tim Davis, Challenger Division Director or Chris Sweeney, HLL President |
The Challenger Little League Division consists of children and young adults (ages 5-18) with various physical and/or developmental disabilities. The league is designed for all players to succeed in the game of baseball and enjoy the benefits that Little League has to offer. Children will learn more than the skills of baseball; they will learn the importance of daily physical activity and the benefits of participation in sports. They will improve their self-esteem, confidence, and experience the joy of being on a team. We encourage FUN and FRIENDSHIP where everyone is a winner!!
In addition, Baseball Buddies will be there to work individually with your child as they learn how to play baseball. If you are not sure if Challenger Little League is right for your son/daughter then CONTACT us and ASK!! For more information contact Challenger Division Director Tim Davis at challenger_director@hllbaseball.com or HLL President Chris Sweeney at president@hllbaseball.com
